22 April, 2009 Yes I m turning 27. No im not happy abt it., Yes, lm living with that fact, No, I don’t like that either L So finally I happen to race to the edge up to the tail of the 20s., that’s disheartening I knw but whats more sad is ppl keep reminding u of the same., Duh !! guys, u wud be there soon too or maybe u r just through., So get a life !! My first bday outside Blore & with new ppl., whom I have never known earlier, & who have never known me, seems like you r born again, strange but true !! Ok, walked this earth for 27 full years & wonder if im worth turning 27, lets see maybe I agree wit it - Schumacher was the F1 champ by the time he turned 27 – for me driving at 140 was a feat. Well I ve stayed in India guys, we cant find a stretch where I can touch 120 anyways. Rahul Gandhi was an MP at 27,….yeah !! I have won an election once too :) & im sure those voted in my favour are still hunting for me. Aishwarya Rai became Ms. World at 21, huh !! what u thinki

Soaps – I just keep wondering what is it that keeps it running & what keeps its viewership rocketing up??? No doubt that they r the mainstay of the Indian television but …. ?? well I just keep wondering over again. An insight tells u that what is it makes the soap apparently soap addictive is it offers a rarified world; It may be talking of marriages, in-laws, extra-marital & their intrigues but it make sure that all its characters are togged out in the latest designer wear & decked up in enough jewelery to put a store in shame. Soaps offer eye candy unlike the escapist formula churned out by the Indian film industry & reality series who claim to reflect the reality of viewer’s lives – I agree J But does the average Indian family ever have to deal with some of these over-the-top situations shown everyday in the in these episodes?? Does anyone ever have to prepare poisoned milk for her mother-in-law or try to prevent someone (usually a woman) from finding out about the l

Spell it the english way, spell it the local way., Bangalore remains the same., OK for a start let me get back to what i shud say first- "yes, i have started to do some blogging, they say better late than never., in this case it was always never but somehow improved my typing skills, now showin it off ;) " gettin back to the whats on top - I love that place - I have lived there for over 26 years & call it HOME., for obvious reasons., I mean ppl ask , whats there to like ?? & i ask what there not to like.,cmon guys ppl from 25 other states come in there for work, pleasure & business. This was years back when i was stuck in this sea of traffic with an ol' friend of mine & had no hope of gettin out of it for a loong time, she is all smiles & sayin "look at this, i love this place"., dint make much sense then but now i begin to see it now Yeah i i hate it when ppl dont say good things abt MY place & hate it even more when they live & work
